This is the descriptive writing we had to do there were lots of choices we had we had to do two or three sentence that were really descriptive. Our goal was to paint a picture in the readers mind.

My Birthday hunt

Year 4 P.E

Year 4 P.E

This term the year fours got extra P.E because all the year fives and sixes got to go away on trips. Today we started by playing line tag. Then, we played soccer it was Liam. C, Jack. R,  Theo and I vs Frank, Jed, Oscar and Leon. We got 1 point and they got nothing so we won. 👑

Interchange

For interchange I am doing Art Hub for Kids. Art Hub for Kids is kind of art but it is based on drawing. There is a you tube channel that teaches you how to do lots of art. If you like art please leave a comment down below our even if you don't  you could still tell me if you like my art.

Matific Competition

This week we are doing a Matific Competition. Matific is a maths learning game that we play sometimes when the teacher is with a maths group. We get to do it now were doing it heaps because we're in the lead and we want to win. If you have ever been in the Matific Competition please leave a comment. Dragon Art

Today Mrs Minehan talked to us about the images we use off the internet. We learnt that it is best to create our own, so she showed us how to download an image from the Explore tool onto Google Drawing and then we made it our own by using the Polyline line tool to draw over it and colour it in. my dragon was really cool because I used gradient and the colours slowly got lighter. It was so much fun. Have you ever made your own images like this?

Science experiment

We filled up glasses with water and put dye in them and flowers. The flowers sucked the water up their steams and after a few hours they started changing colours. Next Monday they were almost done now it's Thursday and they only have a tiny bit of white left. Topic 2019 Term 1

This slide is about term 1 and all the people that have came into Ruma Piwakawaka like Mr Kinane and Mrs Zuckerman. Mr Kinane taught us numbers that had 15 digits in them and Mrs Zuckerman taught us all about the five animals and conflict. For writing we have been doing recounts and for reading we have been practising using tone in our voice and for maths we have been doing basic facts. My favourite thing was when Mr Kinane came to school. What things have you been doing this term?

Peer Mediation

Two days ago Mrs Zuckerman came to our class again to teach us about peer mediation and conflict. If you want to here some more about conflict and peer mediation go into the slide. I would also like to know if you liked it or not so please leave me a comment.

A Great Classmate
